It all began with an idea to play and drink at local breweries. Spurned by my wife. A group of strangers meet up to play DnD with an unknown Dm. We now run this campaign at Big Owl Craft Beer House on Thursdays at 6pm.

Last time we left Thunder Struck, the heroes saved Darrett and the Noble Lord Bakaris along with many of Kalaman’s troops. They retreated from failed attack on the Dragon Army’s main force, and regrouped miles away. The heroes rested and were sent to Kalaman ahead of the army to report what has happened. Upon arrival, they found out that a contingent of Solmanic Knights arrived and went to the castle. What has transpired? The townspeople are just as confused as you are. Will the knights take up their ancient charge and defend Kalaman and her people from the onslaught of the Red Dragon Army? They are the only force in all of the land that can stand on even ground with them. The next question is why now?

After a crazy winter adventure, the ragtag group of adventurers appeared back in Heart’s Hallow. There they were reminded by the mayor, Nezrah, of their task: to bring back a dragon egg. She had enlisted the aid of a new adventurer, Pedroskee, a half elf ranger. They proceeded to the camp, and found that it wasn’t an easy target. They sneaked in with disguises and a little bit of luck. They encountered an emissary and it’s guard. Both in service of the dragon queen. The group of three took to distractions in the form of releasing their prisoners and setting their watch tower aflame. Nearly all went according to plan, they got away with the dragon egg and released the prisoners successfully. Greyjoy’s clothing didn’t fare so great though, and neither did the prisoners. Nevertheless, the goal was achieved and they continued on back to Heart’s Hallow.
